Open Source Water Filtration System, First Run
This is part of the water filtration system for the Seed Eco-Home by the Open Building Institute. Not shown are the actual filters, and an ozonator that injects ozone into the cisterns.
Rainwater catchment as well as a surface pond feed this system. The rainwater goes through a first flush diverter directly into the top of the cistern, and the surface pond feeds through the sand filter into the cisterns. The water filtration panel follows the cisterns.
